I just renewed my Green Party membership

I don't agree with all of their policies, such as their bizarrely extreme firearms policy (specifically CJ500 (iv & vi)), but of all the political parties the Green Party is by far the most likely to bring about beneficial change to our sordid little world, not just our country.

    You're not the only member to disagree with Green Party policy. I heard the party once described as "a democratic body of rugged individualists" so disagreements on policy are common an strongly debated.

    The beauty of the Greens is that the party is still truly democratic - unlike the strict command and control structure adopted by the other parties. Even with the forthcoming leadership changes policy will still be driven by a bottom up perspective.
