catholics really are fucking stupid

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In response to the Pope's direct attempt to interfere with UK politics, one of his lapdogs spoke up in support. His words included this very alarming sentence:
"But there is a misunderstanding: sometimes in government legislation equality seems to mean that we are all absolutely equal, which we are not."
(my emphasis)
Did you get that? According to the catholic elite we are not all equal. No. The poofs and trannies are untermenschen who do not deserve the same rights as the rest of us gods-fearing heteros.
I wonder what rights paedophile priests, and those who enable them, have in comparison?
  1. The Catechism of the Catholic Church says (somewhat patronisingly): ‘They (homosexuals) must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided.’ The Church then ridiculously demands gay people should be celibate.
    So I would want to know precisely what the Pope said, and the context before making a judgment. When Brendan O’Neill of Index on Censorship says: “It is a shocking indictment of the state of progressive politics in Britain that it has taken Pope Benedict XVI — the head of a backward church — to put the case for freedom of conscience against the UK government’s Equality Bill”: I think we need to look a closer at the issues.
    Paedophilia is great to throw in the faces of Catholics to annoy them … Unless you are a Green – would you have Danny Cohn-Bendit as a babysitter. Then there is the attempt of the German Greens to legalise paedophilia: In the 1980s the German Greens had various policies which would decriminalise sex with children. At its national conference in March 1985, the Greens in North Rhine - Westphalia called for “nonviolent sexuality" between children and adults never to be subject to criminal prosecution”.
  3. Please don't suggest that that sort of policy is "Green" policy. It wasn't an attempt to "legalise paedophilia" anyway, it was an attempt to decriminalise it. I'm not defending such a bizarre policy, just pointing out that you're talking bollocks.
    Brendan O'Neill is an insane, batshit vending fucktard. He thinks that environmentalists are fascists and that climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss are all either myths perpetuated by environmentalists or really, really good things for society. In the words of George Monbiot:
    "O’Neill, who still describes himself as a Marxist, and occasionally blogs for the Guardian, calls environmentalism a “death cult” run by “fear-mongering, snobbish, isolationist puritans”. The “anti-flying squad” is “illiberal, irrational, parochial, narrow-minded and backward”. Plane Stupid’s recent protest at Stansted airport, he says, was motivated by “unabashed, undiluted, unattractive class hatred.”"
    If you want your comment to be taken seriously try quoting a source which isn't demonstrably full of shit and try getting your facts straight, dickhead.
  4. How about putting in the full quote! “sometimes in government legislation equality seems to mean that we are all absolutely equal, which we are not. We are equal in dignity.”
    We are demonstrably not absolutely equal, a Catholic can’t become Head of State, my Gran can’t join the Paras. Are you equal to the average fuckwit who knows nothing about science?
    Is Brendan O'Neill the equal of George Monbiot?
  5. You’ve been rumbled, for all your talk of reason, logic and scientific rigour, when the evidence is contrary to your opinion you mis-quote or dismiss it. PHD comic sums up your approach to research.
    You have put forward the hypostasis that the Catholic Church discriminates against homosexuals (as opposed to the homosexual act) in evidence you selectively quote a Catholic bishop, and drawn the conclusion “According to the catholic elite we are not all equal. No. The poofs and trannies are untermenschen who do not deserve the same rights as the rest of us gods-fearing heteros.” Even though an openly gay man heads the Catholic Church’s aid charity.
    I’ve put the bishop’s words into context with the Catechism and the full quote, which shows the Catholic Church, is not advocating lesser civil rights for ‘poofs and trannies’; albeit the Catholics have a confused and irrational view of homosexuality – and retort is abuse. QED.
  6. What the gibbering twat badger does hypostasis mean?
    (Its rhetorical, dumbass- I don't really care). Surely you mean "hypothesis"?
    And are you actually attempting to deny that the catholic church does not discriminate against homosexuals? Have you been hitting the crackpipe a bit too hard lately?
    If the doctrinated insanity that is the catholic church do not discriminate against practising homosexuals- and I'm specifying the "practising" bit because it has made a fantastically patronising gesture by suggesting that homosexual 'desires' are not themselves 'sinful'- then why are practising homosexuals not allowed to become priests? Why are they not allowed to accept communion?
    "Canon 915 Those upon whom the penalty of excommunication or interdict has been imposed or declared, and others who obstinately persist in manifest grave sin, are not to be admitted to holy communion."
    As for the full quote, do you really think that makes it any better? This man is resolutely declaring his conviction that certain people's sexuality affords them less legal rights than others. Black and fucking white, pal. The mealy-mouthed platitude that follows is mere icing on a kick in the face. I don't know if you're a catholic or not and really I don't care. Your arguments are bizarrely hollow and so simply rebuffed I wonder if this isn't some sort of disingenuous wind-up. For gods' sake read the quotation again! THERE IS NO ROOM FOR MISINTERPRETATION! HOW DO YOU NOT GET THIS?!?!?!?!
  8. "But there is a misunderstanding: sometimes in government legislation equality seems to mean that we are all absolutely equal, which we are not."
    Indeed. Catholics are traitors who would deliver us into the hands of the King of Spain, who would debauch our Queen, and into the hands of Ubsersturmbahnfuhrer (Sorry, Pope) Ratzinger who would...
    Look these people think a blow-job is a mortal sin regardless of what gender of gob is involved. Tells you all you need to know.
  9. A pointless comment, profoundly lacking in substance. I find it terrifying that some people are so deeply fucking stupid that they can mistake this blog for The Daily Mail website?
