the UK government is shit

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Its nice to see that, despite the Independent frequently publishing utter cock, it still has a few of the staff kicking around who originally made it a quality paper. One of them is Geoffrey Lean. Following on from Jonathon Porritt's coverage of the UK's pathetic efforts to invest in developing and applying green technologies as a form of economic stimulus- the "Green New Deal"- Geoff reported last Sunday on a survey by HSBC that reveals that the UK government is trailing almost all others in the world in this respect, despite the untold billions they have thrown at the banks. This weekend he has covered Alistair Darling's personal role obstructing public investment in a Green New Deal for this country. So, once again we have evidence to show that this government is incapable of taking action to limit the worst effects of the fuckyounomic implosion, uninterested in developing any UK expertise in green technology and unprepared to take rapid, effective action to limit our nation's contributions to climate change. Geoff rules. The UK government are shit.
  6. I am retired and have lived long enough to realise that goverment's cannot plan a year in advance,they go from crisis to crisis, if they were serious about green issues they would have banned gas guzzling planes, cars and Lorries years ago! what did they do they changed the bloody light bulbs! do they pay for the homeless and starving NO! unpaid volunteers give food parcels to the starving, and also food to the homeless! the goverment don't give a shit. They live in their walled up security houses, why should they care! I could go on and on.
  7. Yes, its true. The UK government is broadly illegitimate and unaccountable. My latest posts might interest you as to why this is.
