Its all a big pile of shite. You can't say no-one saw it coming. I did. I couldn't tell you when exactly it would all blow up but it has been clear to me for a while that 'Big Money' had become complacent about its ongoing rapine and was even becoming overconfident and pushing its luck. So we have the bust following the boom. But bust for whom? Surely not Big Money, who can so easily transfer their wealth into commodities, shielding it from the worst of the economic downturn. And so the "bewildered herd" start to move against the perceived target of their ire with intent. The backlash has begun. Sadly, it won't change anything. People who are dumb enough to allow the most wealthy 10% of the population to own 71% of the wealth aren't really going to be smart enough to begin to come up with a way to break this vicious circle. The UK is no better off but at least a real solution is available if people desire change.
